Debbie Lesko
U.S. representative for Arizona's 8th congressional district
Congresswoman Debbie Lesko represents Arizona’s 8th Congressional District. In May 2018, she was sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives after winning a special election and was recently reelected for her second full term. For the 117th Congress, Congresswoman Lesko serves on the prestigious House Committee on Energy and Commerce where she serves on the Subcommittee on Energy and the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce.
Congresswoman Lesko was appointed by Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy as Leader Designee to the Republican Steering Committee, the committee tasked with assigning Republican members to the various committees of the House. In addition, she was appointed by Republican Whip Steve Scalise to serve as an Assistant Whip for the 117th Congress. She also serves as a Co-Chair of the Women in STEM Caucus and Co-Chair of the Crime Survivors and Justice Caucus.
